BLACK's 32 FORD ROADSTER

This 1932 Ford Roadster was built by owner Sean Black of Hartselle, Alabama and features Metalwork from Steadfast Hot Rods & Body & Paint  by Adam’s Hot Rod Shop

We were fortunate to be involved with this build from the beginning. All the way from its planning to its debut at the 2018 Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, California. An era correct, mid 60’s hot rod, the idea behind the Corvette theme was that a small town kid working at a gas station had an old Ford body and access to a junkyard with some wrecked Vettes. The car has a 360 hp 327 out of a ‘63 Vette, the color is Daytona blue and the interior borrows designs from a ‘62 & '63 Vette.

The car racked up a host of outstanding awards all year including:
  • Outstanding interior and attention to detail at the GNRS in Pomona.
  • Best Interior at the World of Wheels in Birmingham.
  • A Goodguys Top 5 Hot Rod of the Year in Nashville.
  • The Barry Lobeck Memorial award at Goodguys Columbus.
  • Cool Deuce Award at Shades of the Past in Pigeon Forge
Sean sold the car soon after Shades and is now building a 1976 Trans Am set to debut at SEMA 2020.
